Okay I just got a new PC, so that got me back to drawing. And boy am I on a drawing frenzy. I'm coming up with something and I'm almost done, so watch out for that. Whoever you are. :D

I feel very good about this one, I'm quite proud of it. It's probably not something you'd expect from me, then again I really don't have a theme for my art. So maybe it is expected. Haha!

[Edit] Note: it's NOT the Deviant ID I just uploaded :P [/Edit]

Of course, I can't compare it to any other Wacoms (because the last drawing tablet I had was of a random brand several years ago), but I gotta say it's awesome. Like I really can't feel any limits to it after finishing that "Solitude" piece.

Or course the Cintiq is a different story, but no way I could've gotten that hahaha~

Now. A friend of mine's writing this story set in a fantasy world, and I read an old script of his (it's written comic style) and it was pretty good. So I offered to draw the concept art for him for 3 reasons:

One, he's a good writer and I want to help him out.
Two, I need a project.
Three, I want to work on anatomy, especially the bulky male anatomy. The comicbook drawing style (which I currently suck at) is a good way to start imo. So basically there's mutual benefit in it.

Woohoo~

An Intuos 3. Now I'm trying to decide whether I get the 4x6, which is cheaper, or since I'm "investing", go for the 6x8.

Help.

I got Painter IX

And I love flipping through the book thingy that pops up when you run it. The artworks there are awesome! I hope I get to that level someday.

Anyways, I was supposed to use Tank Girl to study Painter, but I should've known that I can't just do what I do in Photoshop there. Long story short, I decided to finish the piece in Photoshop, I'll go over the basics of Painter next. Patence, I need patience heheh.

Also, I was thinking of getting into some oekaki work. I used to do it (yes, with a mouse) but I stopped a long time ago. I thought of it because since I don't have much time to draw, they can be my in-betweeners, so to speak. Just so I can update more. We'll see.
